Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-Fil-A, wrote in one of his books, “If you wish to enrich days, plant flowers; If you wish to enrich years, plant trees; If you wish to enrich Eternity, plant ideals in the lives of others.”

What an impact and legacy he left, one that is still felt today.  I think it is safe to say Truett planted a lot of ideals in the lives of others and had an enormous impact.  After learning a great deal about Truett’s story, it was encouraging and fascinating to see how it all started with one man and one restaurant. The remarkable thing is that even after all his success (over a billion dollar net worth), he never changed.  He lived in the same house and he gave generously of his time, talent, treasure, and touch (hugs to his 100+ foster grandkids).

I hope this inspires you like it did me to live a life of generosity and be a positive impact on this world.
